Engineers Week 2026
When: Monday (President’s Day), February 16 & Saturday, February 21 – 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

What: Hands-on engineering and informative exhibits for all ages!
National Engineers Week is celebrated every February to raise awareness about engineering. The North Jersey Branch of ASCE hosts a two day event at Liberty Science Center to celebrate engineers and showcase the marvels of engineering. Over the course of the two day event, as many as 7,000 children and adults have the chance to try some engineering for themselves with hands-on activities and to learn about the different problems that engineers are solving every day through interactive exhibits. Activities range from circuits to city planning, and exhibits include everything from circuits to bridges. None of this would be possible without the 200 volunteers from local universities, high schools, and engineering firms who show up to this event.
